The Spain Park High School boy’s soccer program is hosting an event in support of the Wounded Warrior Project this evening during their last three regular season soccer games at the school.

Game times are:

4 p.m. – SPHS Freshman vs. Prattville High School

5:30 p.m. – SPHS Junior Varsity vs. Briarwood Christian School

7:30 p.m. – SPHS Varsity vs. Briarwood Christian School

Highlights for tonight include:

*All the boys’ teams will wear a specially designed jersey in support of the Wounded Warrior Project.

*A Rock Wall will be available for climbing the entire evening from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Donations will be accepted. Any climber that reaches the top and rings the bell will win a prize and will have their name announced to the crowd over the PA system.

*The United States Marine Corps will be in attendance for the evening.  The Marines will present the colors and will stay throughout the evening to enjoy the game, handing out information and other items and generally helping with the evening’s events.

*The Spain Park Choir will perform the National Anthem before the Varsity game.

*The Spain Park Cheerleaders and Dazzlers will both perform during halftime of the Varsity game to help celebrate the evening.

The soccer teams encourage the community to come out and support this cause and hope to make Wounded Warrior Project Night an annual event.
